Catherine Barrett McGrath, Au.D.

Dr. Catherine Barrett McGrath is a clinical audiologist with 20 years of experience testing and fitting hearing aids from infancy to the elderly.

She started her clinical experience at the Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania and moved to private practice here in Northeast PA.
Dr. McGrath obtained her Doctoral degree in Audiology from the University of Florida, a Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Marywood University.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology and a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She is licensed in audiology by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and is authorized by this board to fit and dispense hearing aids.
Additionally, Dr. McGrath evaluates vestibular (balance) disorders using videonystagmography (VNG) equipment. She is highly trained in balance disorders and works with area physicians to do this objective evaluation of the vestibular system.
Dr. McGrath is active in the community with the Junior League of Scranton, the San Andrea Society and was named one of the “top 25 Women in Business” by the Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal.
Jaclyn Bewick, Au.D.
Audiologist
Dr. Jaclyn Bewick, a clinical audiologist, received her bachelor’s of science degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and obtained her Doctorate degree in Audiology from Towson University.

Her clinical experiences began with several educational placements through Towson University. She fulfilled her fourth year clinical externship with a private practice in Annapolis, Maryland where she continued as a full-time Audiologist, fitting hearing aids on children and adults and performing balance evaluations using Videonystagmography (VNG) equipment.
She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). She is licensed in audiology by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and is authorized by this board to fit and dispense hearing aids.
Dr. Bewick is originally from Dunmore, PA and is thrilled to be back in the Northeastern PA region. Dr. Bewick grew up around sports and enjoys watching football with friends and family. Her family is a big part of her life and has influenced her in many ways through which she carries into her professional career. Choosing the field of audiology was an easy choice for Dr. Bewick; she simply enjoys helping people in a positive way. She enjoys improving communication and giving individuals a chance to reconnect with a world of familiar sounds and voices.

Patient Care Coordinator
Celia joined the office to help her sister (Dr. McGrath) for a few days and permanently acquired the position of Patient Care Coordinator.
